The TAMRON A010 AFA010S-700 28-300MM F/3.5-6.3 Di VC PZD Lens is a wide-angle to telephoto lens that fits almost all photographic opportunities in a single unit. It's designed for Sony A-mount full-frame and APS-C cameras, and has a zoom range equivalent of 42-450mm on APS-C cameras. Its optical design incorporates 19 lens elements in 15 groups with extensive use of special glass elements like LD (Low Dispersion) glass, Molded-Glass Aspherical elements, Hybrid Aspherical element, and more for superior image reproduction. BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) coatings are also applied for sharp, high-contrast images.
Benefitting shooting at slow shutter speed and long focal length, a Vibration Compensation is incorporated to minimize the appearance of camera shake for stable, blur-free images. A Piezo Drive autofocus system powered by a fast and quiet standing-wave ultrasonic motor ensures smooth and quiet autofocus performance, and internal focusing maintains the overall length of lens for easy handling. A relative compact form factor and moisture-resistant construction make it great for outdoor use. A full-time manual focus override is employed for fine-tuned focusing precision. A seven-blade circular diaphragm helps to create aesthetic out-of-focus quality.
